Thirty years of growth builds character and this property definitely has all the characteristics of a traditional landscape. By utilizing the classic details of this property, we were able to give it a modern twist without losing any of its authenticity. The
irregularly shaped concrete pool is one of the stunning key features of this outdoor oasis; by installing a custom coping around its perimeter, new marbelite, and new pool lights with the addition of new steps, we were able to give this pool a new life! Large 32 x 27 Permacon pavers in Bayona work as the perfect contrast to the mature greenery and the gorgeous deep blue marbelite. To add a cohesive flow between our homeowner’s property and the surrounding vegetation, we knew we needed to add some planting of our own! Boxwood shrubs, hydrangeas and beech trees add rich vertical and horizontal dimensions. For hot days by the pool, we installed an aluminum pergola, equipped with an automatic roof. This pergola works as a low-maintenance shelter that doubles as a seating area and source of light.
