Keeping It Klassic

Project Summary:

This stunning property has all the details of a modern-day castle! Its classic and timeless essence was the inspiration behind the various design elements used. Our homeowners wanted to make a statement to both guests and onlookers so revamping
the front of the property was a must. We started with a new driveway equipped with Rinox Ash Charcoal pavers and Unilock pavers in the colour Basalt to border. The same stone was used to detail the stunning herringbone walkway that leads to a luxurious flagstone porch. Large feature walls were built to act as a visual element that can be apricated both day and night with the addition of under-mount lighting. Black river rocks surrounding large grey stones add a unique texture that compliments the overall design while adding a cohesive flow between the tones in the border, walkway and feature walls. Boxwood shrubs and purple beechwood trees add a pop of colour while Karley rose fountain grass adds a soft texture.

Moving to the back of the property, the same stones were used to perfectly mirror the front of the property; the use of patterns and inlays added visual texture. The gorgeous liner gives the water a perfect blue hue while the feature walls add structure. The feature wall is equipped with three water sheers that provide movement and light all summer long. Adjacent to the pool, a patio using dark grey pavers gives meaning to the space; separating the dining area from the remaining space. Boxwood shrubs, little bunny fountain grass and hydrangeas planted around the back property add natural pops of colour. Taller vegetation like Cedar trees works to add both privacy and vertical dimension.
